(Lmk your thoughts in the comments) Okay so I know it’s not the most creative title but I think I might be onto something with this story [WIP]. What I have at the moment is the main character, Branton who’s Mother (A gym leader) was kidnapped and brainwashed by the evil team trance a few years prior to the main story and it’s kind of a revenge story where Branton tries to redeem what he couldn’t do to free his Mother all those years ago. The story starts shortly after Branton’s partner, Charcadet evolves into Ceruledge and they encounter Emily, Branton’s rival for the first time. Branton’s character is the edgy type so he doesn’t like Emily’s contradictory optimistic personality. I won’t go into too much detail because I don’t wanna spoil anything, but Branton goes to Levincia after reports of Iono’s stream ending about for some reason which introduces us to the sync band, invented by Fascina-Co to basically aid in battle and bring trainer and pokemon closer together hence the slogan “two hearts, one mind”. So the sync band is pretty popular among gym leaders and challengers around the world. But a lot of the gym leaders like Iono, Whitney and Brock hae been going missing so Branton also has to find out where and why the gym leaders went missing
