How can I transition to tech?

I am a 1st year Management student in India. But the thing is management degree was not my first choice...I had always wanted to be an engineer but I couldn't get into an engineering college so I switched to mgmt.

I thought I had made peace with the new career path but as the days are passing I'm realising that mgmt isn't the field i would like to work in due to several factors. So I am thinking switching to tech career without changing my degree.

So my question is, What are some ways in which I can do so or is it even possible? I don't care how much time it takes, I just want to move to tech field. Please help me with this.
