Like his brothers who were seen yesterday, Tate has had a long battle with respiratory issues that have been very treatment resistant. At his last visit we added on an antibiotic + steroid eye drop to help reduce inflammation in his nasal passages, but he has proven to be very sensitive to the steroid and has dropped quite a bit of weight, so that is not going to be a good long term strategy for him. Like his brothers, we are trying to find a good balance between managing his symptoms and not burning through our entire arsenal of treatment options while he is still relatively young.

Snow Day is being seen for the abscess on her abdomen that popped up a little while after her spay. At her post op recheck she had a little patch of cellulitis at the top of her incision. The redness and inflammation improved, but the little lump never really went away. A couple weeks later, the little lump had turned into a pretty big lump, and her antibiotics were switched up to combat the abscess. It finally opened sometime overnight and drained, so hopefully this will be the end of it.

If you can help us cover their vet expenses, we are very grateful - every little bit counts!
