Who can I talk to about figuring out what kind of job/training I should go into, im surrounded by misinformation and people who don't know enough or have agendas
Im turning 24 this year in june and graduated from TMU in intercultural relations, a fluff major that was just supposed to be an easy way into law school which didn't happen. Since then i found a shit sales job with rogers but got let go in January, and ever since I've been doing nothing but throwing resumes into indeed for receptionist roles. I don't know what to do with my life, my interests are music and art, so i don't have a reasonable dream job. I had an idea of going into trades but when you look up how to do so it's an information overload on what trade to go into and how to get in, and the fact that i never did grade 12 math in high school (again the lawyer thing) means a lot of trades are just locked for me now. I literally have no idea whats happening anymore and i'm getting older as well as sick of living with my parents. They are pushing me to just sell my soul and become a cop, but I hate cops and don't want to just settle into that for the money. Call me stupid but at least I know what I don't want to do lol. I'm just looking for a program or something where i can learn a hard skill that will get me a real stable full time job. All I can do at this moment is literally talk on the phone and send emails, no one is going to hire me.
