Donut's exposition on her feelings and fear of loss and abandonment was truly gut wrenching and so expertly written. This is a golden example of the depth of human experience that can be found in this insanely absurd book series.

I got hooked on these books for the geekery but I am staying for the true depth of character development and incredible analysis of the world.
