New to complex migraines
Hey guys! I 25F have been experiencing a “headache cluster” (from what they are calling it) for 13 days straight. Admitted to the local hospital and after MRIs/MRV and CT’s they can find nothing physically wrong with me. I have had migraines on and off over the years but more so stress induced and weather changes, but this one is different. This one is affecting the left side of my body and face giving me stroke like symptoms (even though I’m not having a stroke) persistent nausea/vomiting, head throbbing.. you know the kind.
Recently they tried a few various migraine cocktails but none seem to work. They put me on Fiorcet, but I can only do this for so long as it’s a barbiturates. Also tried the Ubrelvy but can’t take it as I need a PA (prior auth) from my insurance.
Do you guys have any tips or tricks to help this go away?
I’ve done all of my normals and all different combinations of NSAIDs but still not catching a break. My appointment with Neuro is coming up but I need some type of relief before I’m short of stabbing out my left eye 🫠
