Serious question: Do you guys as Clana fans care at all whether Clana is endgame in the comics or not?

Recently in discussions with what I'm assuming are clois shippers, but possibly could just be general comic book superman fans. They try to shoot me down by saying Clana is never end game in the comics so it's never going to happen on any show, and it was never in the cards for Smallville.

Personally I dont believe thst to be true because executive producers have an enormous amount of leeway in these shows, but has this ever been an issue for you?

Can't we as fans of a certain relationship not care what happens in the comics?

Furthermore just how like in some stories wonder woman ends up being his end game, so to couldn't Lana in some else worlds take?

Like I just don't get where these people get off by saying everything has to follow mainline canon comics.
