Spicy romance that made your heart ache with goodness

I'm looking for some recs for spice with some real, heart pounding romance and excellent writing.

Probably slow burn, but above all a book that's made your heart ache with how badly you want the FMC and MMC to be together. A story that made you yearn, but also made you want to drop your panties.

I'm down to go beyond my usual tastes, as long as the rec is heart poundingly beautiful and hot. Happy endings only please - I don't want my heart tugged this way and that just to get dropped at the end 😭

I was a big fan of the romance aspect of fourth wing (hopped right on that bandwagon quick) but I've yet to read another book in years that made me feel all romancie like that one did.

Can be fantasy, modern, magical realism, historical, sci fi - anything. I just want my loins and chest aflame in equal measure. I beg you.
