Ninja Woodfire XL - worth the money?
My Argos 4+1 gas grill caught light rather spectacularly last September and I've been looking ever since for a suitable replacement.
I work from home, but I'm in and out of meetings, so the gas grill coupled with a bluetooth thermometer I can check from inside the house was perfect.
I really don't care about grilling over charcoal, I want something that's going to be efficient and that (for smoking at least) I can "set and forget" like I could with the gas previously.
I still have a dedicated spot in my garden kitchen for a plancha or similar to do smash burgers etc, but you can't smoke on those so something like the Ninja XL which is big enough to do brisket for ~5-6 people but not as big as the Treager models and therefore will fit on the side of the kitchen units outdoors definitely appeals.
Does anyone already have one, if so, how good is it? The reviews look favourable, and the prices are discounted on Amazon at the moment so it could be a good time to buy!
I'm not fussed about the "ProConnect" side of things either - I run Home Assistant and there's no support for ProConnect in that so I'll just stick with my existing bluetooth thermometers!
