Matchmaking styles help

I have recently been running monthly DC trials hosted at my LGS. last month had 4 players so we just played everyone against everyone and best record got prizing. (Phlage 3-0, Ertai 2-1, lumra 1-2, yosh kraum 0-3)

This month should have 6 players from my feedback with players, I have never run an event before this and don’t really know how to approach matchmaking, most have recommended the companion app but the store can’t recognize it as sanctioned play since we allow proxies, as to avoid thousand dollar mana bases. Any tips? Thanks 🙏
