Planning on visiting in Oct.

I love Colorado. When I used to travel for work, I was always happy when they sent me there—especially Denver. I liked the weather, the mountains, and the people. The only thing is I never really got to enjoy it because I’d usually just fly in, do my work, and leave right after. I’m planning my first real solo trip from Dallas to Denver this October and I’ll be there for 2 days. I’m 26 and pretty open to anything. I like nature, mountains, good food, bars, live music, and I’m always down to try new things. I’d also be open to meeting new people while I’m there. Since I never got to experience Denver the right way before, I’d love some suggestions on things I should check out—cool neighborhoods, hikes, bars, restaurants, live music spots, or anything unique to the area.
