I want to remove location sharing with a girl

So in the beginning of college I shared locations with a girl I was close with. We are suite mates, so we have to share a bathroom but not rooms. We hung out almost everyday and ate together first semester.

After break, we don’t talk anymore nor hangout. It was just miscommunication on both of our ends. And I hold no grudge on her but she lowkey does. We already had an issue and she ran to go shit talk about me to her roommate.

It was no big deal, I’m a bigger person and didn’t stoop down to her level. I want to remove my location status, but it sends a notification to her phone if I do. I don’t want anymore drama, but I honestly don’t want her to have my location anymore.

What text can I send her after I remove the location to make it seem like it wasn’t a hostile decision? I don’t her to blow this into a big deal. And knowing her she will.

Or is there any way I can do it without sending her the notification? (iPhone user btw)
