Testing something out soon 🫣 (Evans EC Reverse Dot)

I found out recently that Evans makes their EC Reverse dot in sizes 10/12/13/14”, which I never would have expected ‘cause all of their snare heads are just 13/14” (besides the Heavyweight which I think also comes in 12”.) I just got a bop kit with tom sizes 10/12” racks and a 14” floor. (unrelated but it also has an 18” kick which I’ve never had before, I’m just super stoked about his kit as a whole haha.)

Gonna get the EC Reverse Dot heads for my toms and come back with results! Ik I should just wait until I have ‘em but I’m just excited to share the idea (: I’ve never seen anyone use an EC Reverse Dot for anything but a 13/14” snare, so I’m pumped to see how this comes out!

I should note I live in an apartment where noise is an issue, so while I can’t record the full kit in a groove for context, I **can** record myself hitting each drum a couple times from pianissimo to fortissimo, and I’ll do a before-and after with the stock heads that it came with. The stock heads are basically Remo Powerstroke P4 Clears, they’re double-ply heads with an inlay ring
