3D printed GPU mount - help on material choice needed
Dear all,
I'm adding external GPUs to my workstation and currently considering structural options - about 5-6 kg (11-13 lbs) is to be kept safely in position. Current idea is to use an aluminium profiles with 3D printed parts.
Given that the cards can get warm/hot, PLA is a poor choice as it gets soft from ~60 or so Celsius (140 F). I'm considering to use ABS-GF.
Question to those using 3d-printed parts in their builds: what material did you use, how do they perform?
