CONVERGENCE
IΔF: The Information Field: Science, Philosophy, and Theology in Convergence is a groundbreaking exploration of one of the most pressing questions of our age: what lies at the foundation of reality?

Drawing on the latest insights of quantum physics, cosmology, and information theory, this book argues that reality is not ultimately built on matter or energy, but on information—structured, intelligible, and purposeful. Physicists now recognize that information is more fundamental than atoms or quarks, and that the universe behaves less like a machine and more like a coded system. But this scientific discovery is only the beginning.

Through a journey that spans Plato’s forms, Augustine’s theology of illumination, the medieval debates on universals, the Reformation doctrine of sola scriptura, and modern Reformed scholasticism, the book traces the deep philosophical and theological genealogy of information. At its heart stands the conviction that the Information Field is not impersonal, but personal—the Logos, the eternal Word of God, through whom all things were made and in whom all things hold together.

Chapter 1 examines the scientific evidence, from Shannon’s information theory and Landauer’s principle, to Wheeler’s “It from Bit” hypothesis and the mysteries of quantum entanglement.

Chapter 2 engages the philosophical traditions, showing how questions of meaning, universals, and language converge on the primacy of information.

Chapter 3 anchors this in theology, demonstrating that Scripture itself testifies to reality as Word-centered: God creates
by speech, sustains by promise, redeems by proclamation, and consummates all things in Christ the Alpha and Omega.

Chapter 4 then unfolds the eschatological vision—a renewed cosmos, a perfected humanity, and eternal communion in the Logos, where every fragment of meaning finds its consummation.

Engaging voices as diverse as Einstein, Wheeler, Wittgenstein, Augustine, Athanasius, Luther, Calvin, Turretin, Owen, Bavinck, Van Til, and Schaeffer, this book is at once scientifically rigorous, philosophically rich, and theologically Reformed. It speaks to physicists, philosophers, theologians, and lay readers alike, offering a coherent worldview where science, reason, and faith converge.

At stake is nothing less than the meaning of existence itself. Is the universe blind, random, and purposeless—or is it structured by the Word of God, intelligible and ordered toward glory?

IΔF answers with bold clarity: the Information Field is created by eternal Logos Himself, the living Word by whom and for whom all things exist. In Him, science finds coherence, philosophy finds truth, and theology finds its consummation. This is a book about convergence.

What is the nature of Reality ?
