Will lamictal allow me to go on buproprion without hypomania?

In addition to many issues like BPD, C-PTSD, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, BED… I recently was told I have “type 3 bipolar” where it is not a a formal term in the DMS, but that means hypomania is induced by medications. Buproprion is one of the only medications that has helped me (have truly tried everything as I was put on meds at age 11 and I turn 30 soon). I really want to go back on Buproprion but it did cause hypomania. Will lamictal allow me to be on Buproprion without the hypomania? Due to very severe BED, I am worried to try any other mood stabilizer besides lamictal. I also assume I need to get to a therapeutic dose of lamictal for it to work.

(Side note, memantine has also helped me and it doesn’t trigger mania but I need something stronger such as Buproprion.)
