Payment methods steam

Hi everyone! I have a question. Since I only ever purchased one game on steam via PayPal, I am not sure: Will I be able to purchase the Steam Machine via PayPal as well as soon as it comes out or is it recommended to link a credit card (which I right now don't have accessible)?

Thanks in advance!

PS: I really need that 😶‍🌫️-machine... 🫨😍
