I'm a long time acne sufferer and have been paying a little more attention to skincare lately. I have started micro needling this year to address skin texture. I've really been trying to be consistent with an am/pm skincare routine that includes products like retinol creams, hydroquinone and vit-c for brightening. Along with that, I am recent convert to disposable face towels and have become such a believer in them! I learned about them quite by accident - just randomly came across them at target a few months ago.

Upon researching, everything I learned seemed to be common sense...the bath towels we use daily totally get germy and contaminated with skin cells, oils, soap, shampoo and conditioner residues! So do hand towels (probably worse). Also washing/drying probably also deposits residue from the detergent and softeners, esp. the fragranced ones. I certainly don't use a new bath towel everyday so it made sense to me that some of this stuff was transferring to my sensitive facial skin.

Once I started using disposable face towels, I couldn't go back! Totally addicted to them! My skin has calmed down a lot. I gave them to my kids too because they get frequent acne breakouts. They seem to be helping their skin as well. My daughter likes to air-dry her face but I don't have the patience. I only use them for drying my face but they can be used for makeup removal and whatnot.

Anyway, I've been buying mine on Amazon and lately came across a really nice (bougie) looking box from the clyn co. that fits my bathroom aesthetic. I'm in love with it, esp it's snappy lid! It looks so good on my counter. The towels are nice and do the job well. Just wanted to share my new find because I am so happy that I discovered this product! (pic is from amazon, pls delete if not allowed).

I know the single-use concept can feel wasteful (I got a lecture from my gen-z daughter about it!!) but I keep used ones for bathroom/mirror/counter cleaning so I get more use out of them. They are biodegradable too. NO guilt here! lol

It can also feel indulgent to spend $$ on disposable items but to each their own, right? I like them and sometimes I cut them in half to make them last longer.

Anyway - I wish I had discovered disposable face towels sooner...they are a game changer for me. Thought I'd share in case it helps someone.

Disposable Face Towels that look so good!
