Russian Manicure Price Increase

My fellow beauty salon BWT, curious to hear your opinion. Should a business announce to their customers they are raising their prices? I’ve been going to the same salon for over 2 years and every year I find out about an increase through a booking app (this is their 3rd increase). I feel especially annoyed that they don’t communicate it to their customers, nor announce it on their socials. Is this a common practice in the beauty industry? For reference, their new prices have gone up to $140. What do you pay for a Russian Mani and in which borough?
