Weird lump in my throat (20F)

Hello, I'm a 20-year-old woman. From July to February, I smoked cigarettes very sporadically. It was one cigarette every few days or even weeks. For the past two days, I've felt a strange lump in my throat. I feel it on the right side, about halfway down my neck. It disappears in the morning and reappears in the evening. I don't feel it when eating or drinking, although sometimes I feel like I have to swallow hard for it to go away. What could be wrong with me? I'm very worried that this episode has caused laryngeal cancer.
