Can petrol stations just raise prices as they wish?
Went to fill at a local Esso today, which has always been close in price as the rest of the stations(Asda, Morrisons etc) with no more than 2-3p difference.
Today the diesel was at £1.50.
I thought due to the conflict all the stations have raised prices, but as I travelled on the motorway after that, the highest I saw was £1.49.
The local one would usually be around £1.30-£1.40 in comparison.
Is there anything legal to stop them from doing this?
