Husband has escaped military conscription

Hi. My Egyptian husband (28) has escaped military conscription, he is a resident in the GCC.

We were supposed to meet in an Arab country (not GCC) on the 28th of February. I never got there, my flight got cancelled.

His flight got there, but because of the fact that he’s Egyptian, even if on paper he doesn’t need visa for that country, they have denied him entry and he is to this day detained by the immigration police.

We want him to be sent back to the Gulf but there are little to no flights because of the situation. It seems like they will send him to Egypt.

I am Italian, I am quite scared for the situation. What should I expect to happen to him if he goes to Egypt, having he evaded the military?
