What is going on with Solos recently?

I don't even know where to begin. Is anyone else having trouble lasting two minutes in a solo match without a kim Kardashian skin smoking you and then doing their entire emote wheel over one kill? I'm not the worst player ever, however every solo match I play I get put into a lobby full of TTVs and Durex skins. Like yes Fortnite I play 3-4 times a week so PLEASE put me in lobbies with people who play for 7 hours a day. Is there a glitch with matchmaking recently or am I just not able to keep up with the game now?
