Hi everyone. I need some honest advice because I feel stuck.

I already bought a wedding dress a few weeks ago. It’s a lace bodice with a satin skirt. The total price is **$1950**, but I still **owe the remaining $950** on it.

Yesterday I decided to open Pandora's box (yeii me). I went to another bridal appointment and tried on a **different dress** that I absolutely loved from IG. It’s a structured Mikado off-the-shoulder gown with a slit and a really beautiful silhouette, plus pearl details (I love pearls)

The problem is the cost.  
That second dress would be:

* Dress: **$2,300**
* Accessories: **$300**
* Alterations: **$350**

So the total would be about **$2,950**.

I’m now stuck between two options:

Option 1:  
Finish paying the **$950** remaining balance on the dress I already bought, and be done.

Option 2:  
Lose the first dress and buy the new one for about **$2,950**.

So realistically, the difference is around **$2,000 more**, possibly more, depending on what happens with the first dress.

For context, we are planning a wedding and trying to stay mindful of our budget, so $2k is not nothing. At the same time, I keep thinking about the second dress.

The first dress is superbeautiful and flattering. It’s not like I hate it. But the second one felt more structured and dramatic.

Now I’m wondering if I’m just experiencing normal **“dress doubt”** or if I genuinely found a better dress.

Has anyone been in this situation? Did you stick with the dress you already bought or switch?

I would really appreciate some outside perspective because my brain is currently going in circles.
