Sony FX2 – separate channels for lav and shotgun

I’m trying to figure out the audio routing on my Sony FX2 and I’m a bit confused.

My setup: I have a lav mic plugged into the 3.5 mm mic input on the camera body. I also have a shotgun mic plugged into input 3 (the 3.5 mm jack) on the top handle.

The issue is that input 3 on the handle only seems to route to channel 1+2 together, not separately to channel 1 or channel 2. Because of that, I can’t seem to get the lav and the shotgun recorded on separate channels.

What I want: CH1 → lav mic (camera 3.5 mm input) CH2 → shotgun (handle input 3) Or CH1&2 →lav mic CH3&4 →Shotgun

Is this actually possible on the FX2, or does the handle override the camera’s 3.5 mm input when it’s attached? And is there any way to route input 3 to only one channel instead of CH1+2? .
