Nanny Taxes and DCFSA

Hiya.
Unmarried partner and I pay for a nanny. In the past, my income has been higher and I max the DCFSA to pay; I am the one setup through Poppins payroll for the nanny so we withhold taxes, make estimated payments, pay for UI, etc.

For 2026 the income of my partner is higher, so we have set to max her DCFSA and mine at 0. Just realizing now that I forgot to change her to be the primary person for childcare. Any thoughts on what we can do? We're going to end up with my partner having a maxed DCFSA but the inability to expense any of it.

Thanks!
