Is it worth updating to Samsung UI 8.0?

I recently had to get a new phone after installing the newest update on my old device (s22) at the start of Feb. The update caused it to have severe battery issues, would crash and then got stuck in a bootloop the next day. I took the phone to a shop and they said it was a common problem with the s22 model when updating the phone.

Now I have the s25 and am really paranoid to update it, has anyone had any issues with the update or had a similar experience?
