What IPad should I buy???

I AM VERY TECHNOLOGICALLY dumb. I’m trying to get my kid off my cell phone. This kid never lets me use my cell phone for calls without throwing a MASSIVE screaming fit heard for miles.

talk to me about IPADS… like I’m 1 years old. She plays minecraft and some mmorpg and cat games and wolf games. Will all these games work on iPads? What type of iPad should I get? The phone she’s on right now is IOS 26 I think. Many applications aren’t supported by lower iOS like under ios17-19. How do I know what iPad will support her games before I buy them? I’m buying used so I really don’t want to mess this up.
