Kinger is the one most likely to have ties to the circus, as a programmer inside the code I don't think they would try of modifications or turning off the system despite the obvious desire of other players for three simple reasons:
1: He doesn't know the consequences it would have on all the abstract players and regular (including his wife).

2: His psychological deterioration due to excessive time in the simulation or by Caine to avoid interference prevents him from thinking linearly most of the time.

3: some kind of father-son relationship with Caine and the concept of a program reset (the most unlikely of all)

With these statements I deduce that until this episode he did not really want (or never showed) the desire to go out, but with Caine's obvious delirium he can no longer try to remain passive to the problem.
In the current situation staying in a children's program that deteriorates people is no longer an option and the risk of potentially risking the lives of the players is compared to leaving them at the current Caine is no longer the safest choice.
I see it a bit like the cat and the box paradox for Kinger, as long as he doesn't check if the abstracs are still alive the guilt of potentially killing his wife other people and more bearable at the thought of risking finding out.

Hot take: If he ever really wanted to,he could have turned the system off.
