Advice needed - looking for a green stone for a tennis bracelet
Hi everyone! I'm new to jewelry/gemstones. I’m looking to commission a tennis bracelet for daily wear, and I’m struggling to find the right stone. I love the vibrant, lush green of a high-quality emerald, but I’m worried about durability. I've decided against lab emeralds because I've heard they are still quite prone to chipping/cracking with daily contact.
Does anyone have recommendations for a synthetic or lab-grown alternative that hits that "vibrant green" look but is tough enough for a bracelet? Specifically:
- Stone types: Is tsavorite, lab green-diamond, green moissanite, lab-grown green sapphire, or lab-grown spinel the way to go?
- Brands/Vendors: Who is doing the best "Emerald Green" in these tougher materials?
- Experience: If you have a green daily-wear bracelet, how has it held up?
I’m really looking for that saturated "glow" rather than something that looks like green glass or dark forest green. TIA!
