East Arkansas Area on Aging owns the property on Highland Drive, including the empty lot where the old Malco Theater was - totalling 7+ Acres. They've told the tenants like Gina's Place to move out and they are going to raze the buildings as I understand it.

They are seeking to rezone the property to C-3 and divide the property in to 7 commercial lots.

I remember the used record store there - got some good albums for a buck or two.
