Elemens’ Enchantress Academy was not merely a school, it was a gateway to greatness. This is not to say that magi in their hedges, witches at their cauldrons, and wizards browsing books are without arcane ability - but it’s not Power, not in a true sense. Not the kind of Power a Sorcereress commands. The kind that comes when an individual’s deepest well of self is connected to the magical threads that bind and defy reality. Especially when that connection is forged through force of will and fueled by the kind of raw charisma necessary to not simply wield magic, but to inspire others to follow your wielding. Power, after all, is as much about people as ability. And at Elemens one could hone their natural gifts for marvelous ends.

Hester knew this, and knowing it made it a dream. Bubbling over with their own arcane ability they were desperate to channel it for something greater than a common life in a small village at the edge of nowhere. It was early in their obsession with this opportunity that the greatest challenge presented itself. Not one of capacity — they were rich in rituals and chock full of charms. Elemens famously had an older and stricter standard than mere merit. It was the belief of the school — passed down by Decree from their founder Anastasia Elemens — that, while many arcanists could remake the world, only Sorceresses could remake it for the better. Enforced to an exacting degree, only female students were permitted at Elemens. However, magical enforcement of the Decree is beyond even the master magicians of Elemens’ faculty. Gender is far too complex a thing to draw neat lines and translate them into sorcerous implementations. While detection spells could identify when someone used illusions or transmutations to mimic physical characteristics, they could not reliably detect true identity. And so Hester had their way in. Once they’d come of age and completed their standard schooling they turned to mundane means of disguise to waylay prying eyes and adhered to a true dedication of self to the underlying ideals that Elemens was actually selecting for - talent, presence, and emotional intelligence.

And for the first year at the college their plan went swimmingly. A star student and preferred peer, they rose to prominence with fantastical flair. Then, in their second year, She started paying closer attention. She was a savant, an icon, a queen in the making, in a word: a rival. Matched head to head in scenario after scenario She began to look for any advantage to turn the tide. She found one. Though not one She expected, nor one She’d exploit for a cheap win in a compelling competition. Though there were other pleasures for which She was entirely happy to exploit her insights…

OK! Premise Exposited! I’m hoping to find a partner for Hester who enjoys gender fluidity, power dynamics, supernatural elements, covert shenanigans, and fuckbuddy frenemies! Hester is a femboy and finds a lot of excitement from defying gender and power norms at every turn — especially in how they express through dress, behavior, and sexual performance.

I’m imagining we start at the frenemies stage as you begin putting some clues together before confronting me about the truth. I’m imagining Hester’s appearance similar to my own: pixieish angular facial structure frequently decorated in a shy smile, blue-green eyes, freckles, shoulder length light brown hair, tall, slim/athletic build with a thick ass and thighs.
