[TOMT][song] rock song from an edit of Aronofski’s Pi movie

I 'm trying to remeber the title of a rock song. It was the soundtrack of a video on yt. The video was like a tribute to Aronofsky's movie "Pi". It just showed some sequences of the movie, but the background music was a rock song(of a german underground band I think, but I'm not sure). The song is just guitar and other instruments, no vocals. It starts slow but gets more intense with time. I don't know why, but the word "spiral" comes to my mind when i think about it. I've been loking for that video for years now, but i think it has been deleted.
