Am I Overreacting for thinking about quitting playing volleyball with my teammates?

👥 friendship

So for context I am in college and this is my second year, I met a lot of my friends through a club and I played intramural volleyball through this club. This year, I am now a board member of the club and one of my friends, who I met last year through volleyball is my roommate and we're super close . We had a mandatory board meeting about some issues we've been having as a club and at the same time as the meeting was our intramural volleyball game. Since the meeting was mandatory I assumed we'd go to the meeting and we have enough players that aren't board members to play our game. Also my friend (let's call her A), A told our teammates we wouldn't be able to make it to the game since we had our mandatory meeting. Yesterday, I go to the meeting she's not there and she had gone to the game, when I show up to the meeting the other board members go, "Oh you aren't playing? I thought you would be at the game?" I just brushed it off, but it really upset me that I wasn't told that they had decided to go to the game instead of showing up to the meeting. I know I could've gone to the game, but I thought it was more important to go the meeting rather than the game.

This has left me quite discouraged as the people who I thought were my closest friends, seemingly left me out. I am not the best volleyball player so my only reason to think they left me out is because I am not very good. Also A has a sibling on the team who makes comments about how I am not good at volleyball. Am I overreacting for feeling upset about this situation? I also think this is my sign to quit the volleyball teams I am on because both teams are the same people. Would that be overreacting as well? I can sometimes be emotional and let my emotions get the best of me rather than handling things logically. A is also my roommate and has been ignoring me since, so please help AIO?
