👋Welcome to r/VibecodedScams - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

Hey everyone! I'm Tony, a founding moderator of r/VibecodedScams. This is our new home for flagging web addresses of apps that are missleading users and are essentially just apps with fake personas in the "what our users are saying" sections, missing legal pages (T&Cs, Privacy policy, etc ). We're excited to have you join us in making browsing more transparent.

What to Post Post the links to any website you think is not real and has fake persona testimonials misleading users and not actual substance behind it. Always include reasoning (e.g. missing T&Cs and Privacy policy pages; fictional Microsoft CEO testimonials; etc.)

Community Vibe We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing. We do not want to discourage entreprenours, we just want to flag the webpages that seem to not have the basics covered yet, but are public and misleading because they may very well be a front to harm interested registering users.

How to Get Started

1. If you know someone who needs this community, invite them to join.
2. Let's help people avoid the generic crap that can be published in 5 minutes without thinking of safety for their users

Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make r/VibecodedScams usefull.
