how do i forget about her?

Met someone i genuinely felt connected to. I had never felt that strongly about someone, not even in my past long term relationships, and it made me an awkward mess. Long story short it didn’t work out, it didn’t end poorly or anything, but part of me wonders if it was something I had done or said due to the awkwardness.

She was kind of all that I would want in a person and i’m having a hard time mentally leaving it behind. I’m more of a gentle lover, I don’t really care to rush into intimacy, and i have a very deep idea of love and I feel like it’s hard to find someone my age that doesn’t just want sex and to date just to not be alone. I still think about her all of the time and I have little to no interest in pursuing anyone else. It’s been a couple months and I guess I’m just wondering when it’ll pass and I can move on. My brain is torturing itself.
