Dandy's Flow Icons for Zed — 1,188 icons across Dark, Dim & Light themes, scraped fresh from the source

Hey everyone! I put together a script that ports **[Flow Icons](https://flow-icons.pages.dev)** — one of the most beautiful icon packs for VSCode — over to **Zed**.

**What you get:**

* 🌑 Flow Dark, 🌒 Flow Dim, 🌕 Flow Light themes

* **1,188 icons** — file icons, folder icons, framework-specific variants (Next.js layouts, Nest controllers, Angular components, and a lot more)

* 32×32 Retina-quality PNGs sliced from the original 2× sprite sheets

* Full file extension + filename + named folder mappings pulled straight from the official VSCode extension

**Setup is one script:**

git clone https://github.com/dandysuper/dandys-flow-icons

cd dandys-flow-icons

pip install Pillow

python3 scrape-icons.py

Then in Zed:

1. \Cmd+Shift+P` → zed: install dev extension → point it at the folder`

2. Add this to your \settings.json`:`

 

"icon_theme": "Flow Dark"

*(also available: Flow Dim, Flow Light)*

The script auto-discovers updates, so re-running it any time will pull the latest icons if the upstream pack has changed. No license key. No API. Just publicly available assets scraped and packaged for Zed.
