hello! my playdate game HEXA is on sale for catalog's birthday sales event! it's a fast paced action-y puzzle game all about taking over the universe...or at the very least, mastering the hexagonal plane. it's got a unique rotational gameplay system that works great with the crank, but you can also use the D-pad if buttons suit you better!

there's an arcade mode, a daily seeded round with on-line leaderboards, a practice zone to master your swaps without a timer, and a mission mode! 50 different missions among four categories...and even a custom editor, to create and share your own missions!

i think the game's pretty good, but so do others! it was nominated for...
• best puzzle game
• best arcade game
• accomplishment in accessibility
...in the 2024 playdate community awards! this year, it was even nominated for "best continued support", for all the wonderful new features that have been added since the game launched.

you can pick it up for your playdate today! (did i mention it's playable in english *and* french?) [https://play.date/games/hexa](https://play.date/games/hexa)

...and for those of you who like playing games in color, on the big screen, and with approx. 100% less crank, a version of the game is also available for your personal computer — and it's on sale there, too! [https://raewtf.itch.io/hexa](https://raewtf.itch.io/hexa) (buying on itch also includes a DRM-free copy of the playdate game, if that's your jam).

thanks for listening! hope you're all picking up some wonderful games during this sale.
