How do you make the most out of a study group?

Finals is around the corner and I know a few peers in my class I’m thinking of asking to meet up and study with, but I’m not much of a leader or an organizer. I really want to try tho. I know these peers are smart and can help me but I’m nervous I’m too dumb af.

How should I prepare to form a study group? Is there a method?
