Question abt hormone testing- Is total T enough on its own? What about estrogen, etc?

Questions

Hey all! I'm over a year on T and I've been getting it via Planned Parenthood from the start. It's been great overall, but my clinic's hormone testing policy is very lacking. The routine intermittent testing I do every few months is only for total T + occasionally hemoglobin, that's it. They didn't even check my pre-T levels so idk what my baseline hormones look like either :/

I don't have any reason to think my hormones are off since I feel fine, but then again, I unknowingly spent my first few months on HRT with a T level over 1,200 ng/dL (ie. way too high) and I felt fine then too, so I might not be able to tell if something were off based solely on vibes

I'm due for labwork in the next couple weeks anyways, so I'm thinking I might ask my provider for a more complete hormone panel that includes estrogen. Does anyone have advice on what testing is best? How much does estrogen level really matter while on T? I'm a bit embarassed to only be asking this now after a whole year, but better late than never

(Obligatory dose info, not that it really matters for this: 80mg / 0.4mL T Cypionate, weekly IM injection; T level ~650 ng/dL as of Aug 2025)
