LittleBigPlanet Series DLC

I know this topic has been discussed numerous times on this sub and on PSNProfiles and a number of other forums, but I was hoping this could be a one-stop-shop for all of the answers on this matter.

I been wanting to play the games in the LittleBigPlanet series, but as someone who likes to collect trophies, I have clarifying questions about the DLCs and where they can be acquired.

After a ton of research this is my current understanding of where each DLC can be acquired that is possible to acquire (as of 06 March 2026).

• LittleBigPlanet 1
  • Metal Gear Solid Level Kit (Included on disc of LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year Edition) or (Available on NA PS3 PSN store under the title "LittleBigPlanet™ Metal Gear Solid® Level Kit" for $5.99).
  • Pirates of the Caribbean Level Kit (Available on HK PS3 PSN store under the title "Pirates of the Caribbean Kit (English/Chinese/Korean Ver.)" for HK$46.00)
• LittleBigPlanet 2
  • Move (Included on disc of LittleBigPlanet 2 Special Edition)
  • The Muppets (Missing)
  • Cross-Controller (Available on NA PS3 PSN store under the title "Little Big Planet™ 2 Cross-Control Level Kit for $4.99)
  • DC Comics Premium Level (Available on NA PS3 PSN store under the title "LittleBigPlanet™ 2 DC Comics Premium Level Kit" for $6.99)
• LittleBigPlanet 3
  • The Journey Home (Missing)
• LittleBigPlanet VITA
  • Hero Rush (Included on cartridge of LittleBigPlanet VITA Marvel Edition released in EU and Asia)
  • Avengers: Ultimate Escape (Included on cartridge of LittleBigPlanet VITA Marvel Edition released in EU and Asia)
  • S.H.I.E.L.D. - Interceptor (Included on cartridge of LittleBigPlanet VITA Marvel Edition released in EU and Asia)
  • DC Comics Premium Level (Available on NA PSVITA PSN store under the title "LittleBigPlanet™ 2 DC Comics Premium Level Kit (Add-On Content)" for $6.99)

If anyone can confirm or deny what I've concluded so far that would be helpful.

As for my questions maybe someone can help me answer these.

• Are DLCs shared? For instance if I were to purchase the DC Comics Premium Level Kit on my PS3 for LittleBigPlanet 2 would it also be able to access it on the VITA for LittleBitPlanet VITA, allowing me to get the trophies for both?
• For The Muppets DLC I think I found it on the Hong Kong PSN store. It's titled "Muppets Level Kit (incl. Rowlf Costume)" however, it is "Not available for purchase" and when clicking the "Tell me more" it states "You are not able to purchase this product for the following reason(s): You do not own: LittleBigPlanet™2 Rowlf Costume".
  • Is there some way to "unlock" this so that I can purchase it?
  • It's listed as for LittleBigPlanet Karting, but going along with my first question, would this be shared to LittleBigPlanet 2?
  • I know it was included in LittleBigPlanet 2 Extras Edition released in the EU however, it is only accessible through a voucher code meaning I would need a sealed copy and an EU account and still there would be a risk that the code would not work due to it's age. Is there another regional PS3 PSN store that has it?
• As for The Journey Home DLC I know it was delisted on October 31, 2021 per LittleBigPlanet's X account, but I wasn't sure if there was another PS3/PS4 regional PSN store that still had it. Considering it's not in the HK PSN store I would think it's completely delisted everywhere, nevertheless is there another means to obtaining it?
• As a final resort, would it be possible to create a new user on my PS3, sign into the user with someone's account that does have the DLCs, download them, then access them from my user account?
