vicky battles through two very tight sets to advance into R3. she was broken first in both sets but did just enough to clutch the win.

after losing serve with a few unfortunate DFs in the second set, mboko did just enough to force a tense tiebreak. that said, birrell did very well against such a tough opponent, finding some great angles and showing some brilliant endurance in the rallies.
