Interlock switch

We had an electrician come by today to give us a quote on some work to be done and while they were here I asked about installation costs for the manual transfer switch that is offered by jackery. He was interested in learning more about the jackery itself, but told me that an interlock was actually easier to install, and cheaper, and his recommendation. I searched in this sub and online to see if a regular interlock could be used with a jackery system but didn't see anything specific. Does anyone know or have experience using a standard generator Interlock with a jackery battery backup?
