Imposter Syndrome & Academic Failure

Hi all. I got into a program and I’m excited to start this Fall! I have not seen much about this at all in this subreddit but I was curious about attrition rates and academic failure.

How often do people fail out of programs? How often do people get put on academic leave or probation? I know this is a scary topic to discuss and it is not my intention to scare people, but I think it’s a valid concern to have, which really is important after a ton of time and effort and money that’s invested

Does anyone know people who have flunked out of programs? Do schools really try to help people who are struggling academically? This is my imposter syndrome speaking and I have not taken classes in a few years. With that said I’m really excited to start in the Fall!
