Truth or Lies?

A genie with a desire to see maximum drama comes to you and gives you the power to decide what his next "show" will be. The show being him screwing with all mankind for a month. The choice is simple. For ONE month, no human will be able to lie, not even half-truths, nothing but the blunt, brutal truth. They have no choice but to do so.

OR

You can decide that for ONE month no one will be able to tell the truth, not even a little bit. Just straight up blatant lies. To everyone, from everyone.

You alone will be immune to this. The genie will put you into a pocket dimension where you will get to watch the drama unfold. The pocket dimension is perfectly safe, has whatever food, drink, and whatever you consider a comfortable sleeping situation.

What would you pick and why? Which one do you think would be more potentially destructive?

If you refuse to choose, the genie will flip a coin and decide anyways, except now you will be a part of the show. He is doing this purely for his amusement, he doesn't care what happens beyond that.
