ACOTAR 6 Theory: Could Elain’s Visions Be the Key?
So, I’ve been mulling over some details from SJM’s recent interview about the POV of Book 6.
SJM explicitly is saying it won’t follow the traditional structure, and she’s not confirming a single POV. Unlike TOG or the other dual/multi-POV novels, this hints at something more experimental.
Here’s my take: what if the next release is a series of Elain’s visions?
- It wouldn’t be linear. No “start-to-finish” storyline.
- It could provide insight into multiple characters and events, Koschei, Lucien, her bond with him, and even possible hints about HOFAS.
- The visions could blur time, past, present, future giving us context we haven’t seen before.
This aligns perfectly with what SJM said: it’s unlike anything she’s written before, and it breaks the “traditional book” mold.
I’m betting on Elain’s visions being the lens for the next ACOTAR installment.
What do you all think? Could we finally be seeing a book that isn’t just a story, but a window into the world through Elain’s eyes?
