here’s some before and after pictures, i can’t even fathom that those pants fit me once (and not a long time ago). I look happy in the third picture, taken on February 19 2025 in portugal, and that is solely because i am holding a chicken in my hands, everything else in life was really not going great for me. most of it had to do with my body and (mental) health because of my weight. lost 65kg, which is almost what my weight is now (68kg). i think it’s interesting also how much my face has changed, some people who have known me a long time haven’t been recognizing me 😆 also: take those before pictures!!!!! i haven’t got any because i couldn’t stand looking at my body but now i really wish i had a better comparison.

if anyone is interested in how it has been going and is still going and also my insights on what i found most important, here is a long text about it:

I have been dosing down for three months - from 15mg in november to 7.5mg starting this week and even though food noise got louder, I have been consistently losing weight / fat and gaining muscle at the same time still. The most important thing for me was to create this whole journey as sustainable possible and the only way to do that is to make it somewhat enjoyable and something you can imagine doing for the rest of your life. because after you quit the injection, you will have to take care of your body for the rest of your life and it will be so much harder to do so, if you hate your own routines. The holy trinity to get together: diet, sports, mental health…

I changed my diet, i‘ve been trying out hundreds of recipes in order to not eat a bowl of cottage cheese everyday and keep it fun and varied. i’ve changed my lifestyle. i’m moving my body intentionally every day, going different gyms 6 times a week, but not in order to loose weight or burn calories, but because it has become such an important and fun aspect of my life, that i enjoy doing so much. I have friends joining me, I met amazing people in different studios, it’s a hobby, not just a means to maintain a calorie deficit. I’m going to therapy and actively talking about why my mental health struggles have always been so deeply entangled with my eating habits.
