How do you bounce back from a failed PhD that destroyed your self-esteem in your field ?

Hi,

I am just out of a failed PhD in STEM that shattered my self confidence in my skills in my field. I was unable to provide anything substantial during my PhD and it gave me an enormous importer syndrome that I should not be working in my field. In fact, I am actively dreaming of changing fields but I have no idea what I could be doing. I would love to hear about some experiences in a similar situation.
