Men who were successful with women when younger, how did you choose the one?

This may read like a brag but I’m honestly looking for genuine advice.

27M, very good with woman as I was quite a player when I was younger. However I find it hard to have relationships. I’m at the stage where I want to stay building the next stage of my life exclusively with one partner.

How did you choose the one when you have had a lot of options?
