Almost fiancé said "can we just be friends?"

Hey, there. Hope y'all are doing great As you read the title, it's quite funny to remember and tell this story,

Months ago i was interested in this woman, and somehow she was interested in me aswell, I didn't take a lot of time but i proposed to her on private and she was very interested and said yes, and we were planning the choufa.

4 days or so after that, she messages me and suggests that we should stay friends, bcs her argument was " We need to know each other better before anything serious" even tho i told her we will get to know each other when we're engaged.

My response was "Nope, ain't happening." And i just moved on"

Every time i remember this story it makes me laugh, and makes me wonder "What do women really want?"
